Welcome to season 2011

This year is going to be another fantastic year for Football in NZ and Moturoa AFC looks forward to being a part of it. We endeavour to provide a Newsletter to the club members on a regular basis in order to keep our valued players, coaches, volunteers, supporters and parents up to date with what is happening in and around the club. Please see the calendar of events including registration days, a working bee (come on down and give us a hand), Women’s Festival, 5-aside Taranaki Masters
football, Pre-season games and more.
We will be holding events throughout the season including Quiz nights, and other social events.

Registrations
March 13th Junior & Senior Registrations at 10.00am

Second Women’s Team
Moturoa is aiming to attract enough women to field a second women’s team so get along to the
Wednesday training night at 6pm
Mailing List
If you would like to be on the mailing list to receive updates on the events, newsletters, and any
other communications from MAFC we are more than happy to send a newsletter and flyers out in the
post. Alternatively send an email request to myself if you would like to be on the electronic mailing

Your New Committee
The new Moturoa AFC Committee for 2011 has been selected and the club is pleased to announce
the following appointments:
• President—Stephen Frowde
• Secretary—Not Filled
• Treasurer—Lorrain Offord
• Club Captain—Scotty Manson
This Committee executive will be well supported by the general Committee members of
• Angela Caldwell,
• Vanessa Webber,
• Tony Nicholas,
• John Hudson and
• Mark Stewart.
The work of the Committee is a very important part of the clubs success and these volunteers are looking forward to working with the wider club in order to build on a very successful 2010 season.
